Illness is on its way out the door, finally. We've spent the last couple of weeks fighting illness. Lillian was the worst. She was so congested from the chest up, coughing fits, running nose, eyes, drool. I'm glad we are on the climb out of it instead of in.

Halloween was fun this year. Friday night Brooke Lambert, Natalie
Mohr & I planned a Halloween party. Of course the weather didn't cooperate so we moved it indoors. We had face painting, donut frying, lots of finger foods, fish pond, photo booth, cake walk, mask making, movie, & lots of mingling, crowds, & good times. We have Brooke to thank for most of it because she did the majority of the work since it was at her house. It was so great to see friends & visit. I ran a photo booth but not too many wanted their picture taken...fine by me!
Olivia, Evelyn, & Lil' Janie...Tiger, Monkey, & Pumpkin
Jane White...ladybug.
Mom & Dad...Raggedy Ann & Andy
Ethan & Landon...skeletons

Saturday I wanted to make extra special for the kids. Jared wasn't feeling great, Lilli Jane not at all well & so we
layed low instead. The girls didn't miss all the extra parties. I made some pumpkin bread bowls, wassail, & chili for dinner. I ended up taking it to the church for the ward gathering where mom & David/Barbara & girls joined us. Ally, Jessica, Evy, Liv & I headed trick-or-treating together & the night was warmish & fantastic.
Our porch, treaters & pumpkins...
sister larson served her candy on a silver platter
The griffins, our backyard neighbors, gave out apples
Our kids LOVE Grandma Ed.
Jadie Salazar carved really cool pumpkins.

The Lamberts were done trick-or treating in time to give us candy. Bennett was a Wolverine, Jakey a tiger, & Finn a giraffe.
Oh the candy pile! Olivia looks so drunken in these photos I had to post both.
I'm not ready for winter, but the date is, so bring on the snow, I guess.

I would have gotten my picture taken. Everything looked great! You guys sure know how to throw a party. Everyones costumes looked great too:) Glad you all had fun.
And your Dad thinks it is "Party Central" up here! Great pictures, glad you are all on the "mend".
Oh, what a fun Halloween! I can't believe we never made it out to get photos taken; I was too disorganized. We never could have done it without your parents, either. Jason says your dad saved his bacon with the frying of the donuts. They are awesome. You got the cutest trick-or-treating photos. I love all the porches and the cool lighting.
